StartOut has launched the Black Entrepreneur Empowerment Initiative to support Black LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and founders.

In honor of Black History month, StartOut has opened applications for Black entrepreneurs in our community to receive scholarships to join StartOut’s Founders Program. As a part of the Founders Program, founders get full support through expert office hours, mentorship, access to investors, and networking opportunities. We want to ensure that all Black-identifying LGBTQ+ founders can inspire generations to come. This is one step of many in leveling the playing field and moving toward economic empowerment.

Apply now by filling out the Founder Application on our portal and by sending an email to Sarah Burgaud, our COO (sarah.burgaud@startout.org) with the subject line “StartOut Black Entrepreneur Empowerment Initiative – Scholarship”. Applications open this month and will be reviewed year-round.
